Reporting Your Immunization Data
Colorado law requires most schools and child care centers, preschools and Head Start programs with 10 or more children to report their aggregate immunization and exemption data annually to the state health department, which makes the data available to the public. The data helps school administrators, parents and the public understand how protected a school community is against preventable disease. Having accurate data on vaccination in a school setting is also important to emergency response efforts.
