Reporting Your Immunization Data
Colorado law requires most schools and child care centers, preschools and Head Start programs with 10 or more children to report their aggregate immunization and exemption data annually to the state health department, which makes the data available to the public. The data helps school administrators, parents and the public understand how protected a school community is against preventable disease. Having accurate data on vaccination in a school setting is also important to emergency response efforts.
How To Report Your Immunization Data
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) assists school and child care facilities in reporting their immunization data. Schools and child cares should submit their data through the reporting portal accessibleĀ here.
Check out the training videos below to learn how to collect and report your facility's data.
