Katelyn joined Immunize Colorado in August 2024 as the Outreach and Communications Fellow through the Public Interest Fellowship Program (PIFP) hosted by Colorado College. She graduated from Colorado College in May 2024 with a major in history and minors in education and French. Katelyn developed her passion for public health through her background in the history of science and medicine. Previously, she has worked as a summer math instructor for rising seventh graders and as a summer assistant director for an outdoor camp program. She has also conducted historical research for a New York museum and worked as a student ambassador and interviewer at the Colorado College Office of Admission. Katelyn is excited to draw upon her experience in education and communication to further Immunize Colorado’s mission to protect Colorado families, schools, and communities from vaccine-preventable diseases. In her free time, Katelyn enjoys skiing, dancing, and cooking.
