Jennifer (Jen) has been a nurse for over 29 years. Her experience includes working in maternal-child health and Neonatal Intensive Care for 18 years in Connecticut and Colorado.
For the last 10 years, Jen has been a School Nurse on Children’s Hospital Colorado’s School Health Team. She is the nurse consultant for Platte Canyon School District in Bailey, two Charter Schools in Jeffco, a private school in Jeffco and the Jeffco School Age Enrichment Program which provides before and after school care in 30 elementary schools. Her students range from Preschool to 12th grade.
Her role as a school nurse includes immunization education, monitoring compliance, and reporting immunization data.
