Bennett joined the Colorado Immunity Corps in August 2024 after graduating from the University of Washington with a Bachelor’s in Public Health and Global Health. At Jefferson County Public Health Department, Bennett is conducting outreach with community members and organizations to expand access to immunizations equitably, including for elders and infants who are homebound. Bennett was motivated to join the Colorado Immunity Corps for the opportunity to work with communities and center their assets and needs in public health initiatives, as well as because of his prior experience working with immunizations at the local public health agency-level in Washington State. Outside of work, Bennett enjoys hiking, reading, and traveling, having been to 37 U.S. states.
