Aiyana Bolar is an alumna of the University of Iowa where she studied health and human physiology. After graduating, Aiyana switched career paths and went into supply chain management for a manufacturing company, but quickly realized that her passion is in public health. The work at Immunize Colorado aligned perfectly with what she loves to do. AmeriCorps is a program that Aiyana admired throughout college, and she was eager to be a member. As an Immunization Outreach and Education Coordinator, Aiyana helps educate the community on vaccines, assists in grant writing, and leads the Youth Ambassador program. Outside of work, she spends her time learning guitar and exploring Colorado with her roommate.
