Event Description
IDEO.org and the National Resource Center for Refugees, Immigrants, and Migrants (NRC-RIM) have been working with community leaders and health workers to design vaccine confidence communications and services rooted in the needs of refugee, immigrant, and migrant communities.
This spring they launched a project called Mothers x Mothers, a toolkit designed to help organizations plan and implement health-focused meetup groups for immigrant and refugee mothers. During this webinar, we heard from NRC-RIM and IDEO.org about this project; they also showcased how organizations can support vaccine confidence in any community, not just among mothers. After the webinar, participants were able to:
- Plan and host a health-focused meetup group for immigrant and refugee women
- Create a vaccine confidence campaign in partnership with community leaders
- Access and share a suite of other materials that support the needs of mothers, including supporting their confidence in vaccinating their children
