Event Description
Engaging Rural Pharmacies to Increase Vaccine Access and Confidence, features Dr. Laura Lee Hall, president of Center for Sustainable Health Care Quality and Equity who will present about their flu and covid-19 vaccine DRIVE Toolkit for use in rural settings and through pharmacies. DRIVE (Demonstrating Real Improvement in Value and Equity) was developed to help improve health outcomes for diverse and underserved communities across the U.S. through a team-based rapid quality improvement cycle approach. Additionally, pharmacist Dr. Amy Nicholas will share about the ImmYounity module for pharmacists in having vaccine conversations with patients.
Through presentations and an interactive Q&A panel, Immunization Programs will learn best practices for bridging access gaps in rural communities to build vaccine confidence!
